Description: ParkLands Foundation, a private not-for-profit organization founded in 1967, owns nature preserves in McLean and Woodford counties in central Illinois along the Mackinaw River. These lands are dedicated to nature preservation and passive nature recreation. We are active in restoring lands to high-quality prairie, wetlands, oak savanna, and closed canopy forest. We welcome all persons who share our mission to help us accomplish these goals.
