Description:Citizens for the protection, preservation, and restoration of the Fennel Creek Watershed and its valuable Pacific Northwest habitats, history, salmon and wildlife. Since forming in March 2004 we have participated or partnered with Puget Sound Partnerships, Pierce County, the City of Bonney Lake, the Puyallup Indian Tribe, the Puyallup River Watershed Council, ForeverGreen, the Foothills Trails Coalition, Stream Team, Cascade Land Conservancy, schools and others to engage in raising visibility and awareness as to the environmental value of the Fennel Creek Watershed through Fennel Creek tours, Western Redcedar tree seedling harvest and planting, clean-up efforts, powerpoint presentations, booths, maps, brochures, newsletters, and other resources . As the largest tributary in the Mid-Puyallup River Basin located between Mt. Rainier and Puget Sound at Tacoma, unique Fennel Creek is home to stunning Victor Falls, the Naches Trail and supports all five species of salmon below Victor Falls.
