BACKGROUND.

EPA's Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics (OPPT) requested that the Clean Air Scientific Advisory Committee (CASAC ) conduct a consultation and a subsequent peer review on the assessment supporting proposed requirements to reduce exposure to lead hazards created by renovation, repair, and painting activities that disturb lead-based paint.
