BACKGROUND.

The EPA's Office of Research and Development (ORD) has developed a draft "Evaluation of the Inhalation Carcinogenicity of Ethylene Oxide In Support of Summary Information on the Integrated Risk Information System (IRIS)" (July 2013 Draft). An earlier version of the carcinogenicity assessment was peer reviewed by the SAB in 2007. ORD developed the July 2013 draft based on the SAB's 2007 recommendations.

ORD has requested SAB peer review of its July 2013 revised draft document.
