Annual Nomination for the CASAC, the Chartered SAB, and SAB Standing Committees

The SAB Staff Office annually makes recommendations to the EPA Administrator regarding membership of the CASAC, the Chartered SAB, and SAB standing committees.

The Staff Office published a Federal Register Notice on April 18, 2014 requesting public nominations of experts to serve on the CASAC, the Chartered SAB, and the following SAB standing committees: Chemical Assessment Advisory Committee, Drinking Water Committee, Ecological Processes and Effects Committee, and Radiation Advisory Committee. The notice described the functions of and expertise needed for these committees.

If you wish to nominate yourself or another expert to one of these committees, please follow the instructions below:

  1. If you wish to nominate an expert currently or recently serving on the SAB, CASAC, Council or one of their committees or panels, review this reference list (which opens as a pop-up) and complete and submit the Annual Membership Nominations information, which will prompt you to identify a committee.

  2. If you wish to nominate an expert who is NOT currently or has NOT recently served on the SAB, CASAC, Council or one of their committees or panels, complete and submit the requested New Expert Information. After completing the New Expert Information, you will be presented with the Annual Membership Nominations form to complete and submit.
