AGENCY RESPONSE

EPA’s Office of Research and Development requested CASAC advice and peer review of the science assessment in the Air Quality Criteria Document for ozone. Under the Clean Air Act, EPA is required to carry out a periodic review and revision, as appropriate, of the air quality criteria for six criteria air pollutants, which include ozone.
