Sulfur Oxides Primary NAAQS Review Panel (SOx Primary Panel)

Over the next two to three years, the Panel will provide advice and recommendations to the EPA Administrator on the scientific and technical aspects of the primary (health-based) policy-relevant science and the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for sulfur oxides.

In addition to its current advisory activities (see link below), in Fiscal Year 2008 the panel will respond to a request from EPA's Office of Air and Radiation for a peer review of EPA's draft "Sulfur Oxides Risk/Exposure Assessment for Primary (Health-based) NAAQS."
