Oxides of Nitrogen Primary NAAQS Review Panel

Over the next two to three years, the Panel will provide advice and recommendations to the EPA Administrator on the scientific and technical aspects of the primary (health-based) policy-relevant science and the National Ambient Air Quality Standards (NAAQS) for oxides of nitrogen.

In addition to its current advisory activities (see link below), in Fiscal Year 2008 the panel will respond to a request from EPA’s Office of Air and Radiation for peer review of EPA draft "Nitrogen Oxides Risk and Exposure Assessments for Primary (Health-based) NAAQS."
