    This Accomplishments Report summarizes the advice provided to the EPA by the SAB, CASAC and Council from Fiscal Years 2009 to 2012. The report gives highlights of advice on a range of science issues—from impacts of mountaintop mining and hydraulic fracturing, to restoring the Great Lakes, to evaluating health risks from chemical exposures and setting safe levels of air pollutants. It also describes original SAB studies on managing reactive nitrogen, valuing ecosystem services and integrating science for decision making.
