Yvonne W. Johnson
Yvonne W. Johnson has over 22 years experience with the U.S. EPA. She is an environmental protection specialist in the Office of Air Quality Planning and Standards and is the lead for the EPA Sustainable Skylines Initiative. This program helps cities promote effective collaboration among community partners to implement projects and planning to improve sustainability, air quality, and the quality of life.
Yvonne has been in OAQPS since 1993. While she has extensive experience in both regulatory and voluntary programs, she also has experience in resource management, strategic and program planning at both the division and program office levels. Prior to OAQPS, she worked in the Office of Research and Development for approximately 8 years.
Yvonne has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing and Business Management from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, a Graduate Certificate of Public Administration from North Carolina State University, and a Masters of Business Administration from Campbell University. Yvonne, her husband, and two children reside in Harnett County, North Carolina where they own and operate a farm, raise beef cattle and thoroughbred horses.
