When working with EPA on your grant project, there are two offices you will be working with on a regular basis to make your project successful.
A program office (such as the Office of Water) is responsible for the technical side of your project. They provide the program-specific information you need to apply for assistance. If you apply, they will review your work plan for technical merit, review your proposed budget and, if they choose to award your grant, provide the funding you will need to carry out the work. During the project period, they will monitor to assure all program requirements are met. The EPA Project Officer is your main program office contact. His/Her name is listed on the grant award document. Links to various program offices are available via the EPA Region 10 home page. | | |
