Who May Apply?

• All U.S. Citizens - Generally open to any citizen of the United States of America
• Current and Former Federal Employees (federal status) - Generally open to federal employees with competitive status, individuals eligible for reinstatement as a federal employee, and candidates applying under the Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program (CTAP).
  
  Note: Some positions are announced concurrently under Merit Promotion (MP) and Delegated Examining (DE) mechanisms. Most Federal employees apply under the Merit Promotion mechanism. However, they may choose to apply to one or both announcements.
