Region 10 Grants: Post-Award Administration

Your grant has been awarded, and you have received your grant agreement. Now what?

First, read your grant agreement, including the Administrative and Programmatic terms and conditions. There are a number of Administrative terms and conditions that are binding on your organization as a grant recipient. Some may require some action on your part during the term of the grant agreement. Please be aware of what is required.

Then, sign and return the grant agreement. This is required before grant funds can be released to you. Follow the instructions included with the agreement. Failure to return the signed grant agreement in a timely manner may result the award being withdrawn.

Note: If you are the Project Manager for a grant, be sure to check with your grants staff for a copy of the grants agreement. It contains important information you will want to know.
There are two conditions common to all EPA grants which have reporting requirements:

The forms marked are fill and print enabled. If your version of the Acrobat Reader supports that function, you may also be able to save the document after you have completed it. We have tested it on version 6.0 and it works.

Interim reports are no longer required.

Final reports are due 90 days after the end of the grant.		SF269(A) (PDF) (2 pp. 38K)- short form, for most grants.

SF-269 (PDF) (2pp, 27K)- long form, for grants with program income.

Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (MBE/WBE)
Reporting terms differ, depending on your grant. Consult the condition statement on your agreement.For reporting form and more information please see EPA's Office of Small and Disadvantaged Buisness Utilization Homepage

This report must be submitted even if no procurements have been made during the reporting period.

The form must be filled out accurately and completely.


Programmatic terms and conditions will vary, depending on the EPA program your grant is under. Please be aware of what is required. One requirement that is common to all grants is for performance reporting. These may be required quarterly, semi-annually or annually. A final report may also be required. Please direct any questions about Programmatic terms and conditions to your EPA Project Officer.
