2008 Request for Applications
On April 08, 2008, a new announcement for the EJSG titled, “Environmental Justice Small Grants Program Application Guidance FY 2008 (PDF)” (525KB, 42 pages) was released. This notice announces the availability of funds and solicits applications from eligible entities and non-profit organizations working on, or planning to work on, a project that addresses a local environmental and public health issue within an affected community.
The EJSG Program is a multi-statute program designed to help communities understand and address their exposure to multiple environmental harms and risks. This notice is also available in Spanish (PDF) (470KB, 45 pages). Communities with environmental justice concerns are invited by EPA to apply for funding. Applications are due by June 30, 2008.
