Compliance and enforcement activities are carried out by Office for Compliance and Enforcement (OCE) and within regional media offices. Enforcement attorneys work within the Office of Regional Counsel. The Region has established OCE to provide coordination and to promote a multi-media view. The non-Superfund Federal Facilities Coordination function also resides in OCE. Information related to criminal violations of environmental laws is referred to the Criminal Investigation Division.
