Partner with Energy Star, a voluntary joint program of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy. The nearly 500 industrial ENERGY STAR partners come from all sectors of the economy and have joined with ENERGY STAR to manage energy and climate change risk, increase competitiveness, distinguish themselves as environmental leaders, and build and refine the energy component of their corporate sustainability issues.

Join the Green Power Partnership, a voluntary partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The Green Power Partnership encourages facilities to buy green power as a way to lessen the environmental impacts associated with conventional electricity use. Buying green power can help reduce your organization’s environmental impact while also providing valuable benefits such as avoiding GHG emissions; reducing air pollution; hedging against electricity price increases; serving as a brand differentiator; generating customer, investor, or stakeholder loyalty and employee pride; creating positive publicity and enhancing your organization’s public image; and demonstrating civic leadership.
The Green Power Partnership promotes the use of renewable energy by providing technical assistance, networking possibilities, and public recognition to companies that choose to utilize green power. Online Registration
Join the National Environmental Performance Track Program, a voluntary partnership program with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and co-administered with state environmental agencies. The Performance Track program is a carbon footprint reduction program that recognizes and drives environmental excellence thru its support for facility-wide continuous environmental improvement beyond regulatory requirements.
Performance Track members achieve national recognition and have access to administrative and regulatory incentives as program benefits. Partnership Opportunities - Waste
Partner with WasteWise. WasteWise is a voluntary partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency aimed at eliminating costly solid waste. Partners set waste reduction goals and design waste reduction plans tailored to their businesses. WasteWise partners reduce purchasing and waste disposal costs.
WasteWise provides free technical assistance to help companies develop, implement, and measure their waste reduction activities. Benefits of becoming a WasteWise partner include solid waste reduction technical assistance and public recognition as environmental leaders. Online Registration
Partner with GreenScapes. GreenScapes is a voluntary partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency aimed at helping transform landscaping practices into environmentally friendly ones. Green landscaping means buying fewer products and switching from the purchase of disposable products to those that are long-lasting and reusable.
Benefits of becoming a GreenScapes partner include technical assistance publications, workshops, and recognition for your efforts.

Partner with WaterSense a voluntary partnership with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency to protect the future of our nation’s water supply by promoting and enhancing the market for water-efficient products and services. Partner with Climate Leaders, a voluntary EPA industry-government partnership that works with companies to develop comprehensive climate change strategies. Partner companies commit to reducing their impact on the global environment by completing a corporate-wide inventory of their greenhouse gas emissions based on a quality management system, setting aggressive reduction goals, and annually reporting their progress to EPA. Through program participation, companies create a credible record of their accomplishments and receive EPA recognition as corporate environmental leaders.
Addressing climate risk is a key objective for many leading companies. Investors, customers, and suppliers are increasingly seeking information on corporate climate strategies that benefit the bottom line, reduce uncertainty, and create market opportunities.
Climate Leaders provides partners with technical assistance and resources for developing GHG inventories, reporting reductions, setting goals, and promoting successes.
