Removal Photos during 1999 Construction Season

Loader dumping soil into truck.
Silver Hills Middle School, 1999 Cleanup. Contaminated soil is removed from the ballfield.

Bare soil surrounds brick school building.
Clean soil is placed before vegetation is re-established.

1900s two-story home with thick black plastic in place of yard.
Residential Cleanup; Barrier placed after removal of one foot of contaminated soil. The barrier serves to separate clean soil from contaminated soil.

Grader leveling gravel for boat ramp.
Anderson Lake boat ramp is built in 1999 after removal of mine waste tailings and placement of clean gravel. The site was later paved.
