18 AAC 53.030. SAMPLING, TESTING, AND OXYGEN CONTENT CALCULATIONS

(a) To comply with the requirements of this chapter, the oxygen content of gasoline must be determined by

W = weight fraction (for percent, multiply by 100)
oxygenate = oxygenate in the blend
V = volume fraction
d = specific gravity
gas = gasoline
Woxygen = E (Voxygenate x doxygenate x Woxygen/oxygenate ) / (Vgas x d gas) + E (Voxygenate x doxygenate

where:

(b) The oxygen molecular weight contributions of an oxygenate approved for use under this chapter are set out in the following table:
