Draft NPDES Permits for Alaska Dischargers
Alaska's NPDES Program
On October 31, 2008, EPA Region 10 approved the State of Alaska's application to administer and enforce an Alaska version of the NPDES program. The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation administers the approved Alaska Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (APDES) program. For more information, see the State of Alaska's APDES page.

The following draft permits and modifications are currently or have recently been open for public comment. See also permits issued within the last six months, and all Current Permits, Fact Sheets and Responses to Comments.
If you would like to comment on the tentative determinations contained in a proposed permit you may do so by email. Comments must be sent by the closing date of the official public comment period to be considered in the formulation of final determinations regarding the application. All comments should include the name, address and telephone number of the commenter and a concise statement of the exact basis of any comment and the relevant facts upon which it is based.
