Draft NPDES Permits for Alaska Dischargers

Alaska Primacy -- The State of Alaska is currently in the process of developing NPDES program elements for submittal to EPA for approval. Once EPA approves the proposed program, authority to administer the NPDES program will be delegated to the State. For more information, see the State of Alaska primacy page.
Persons wishing to comment on the tentative determinations contained in a proposed permit may do so via email. Comments must be sent by the closing date of the official public comment period to be considered in the formulation of final determinations regarding the application. All comments should include the name, address and telephone number of the commenter and a concise statement of the exact basis of any comment and the relevant facts upon which it is based. All comments should be sent to the Director of the Office of Water and Watersheds, Mike Gearheard.
