We are developing a community involvement plan for the Lockheed West Seattle and East Waterway at Harbor Island Superfund sites. We invite you to read and comment on our draft Community Involvement Plan for study and cleanup of the Lockheed West Seattle Superfund site and the East Waterway of the Harbor Island Superfund site. The Community Involvement Plan is based on interviews with people who live or work in or represent the community near Lockheed West Seattle or the East Waterway.

The plan summarizes concerns about these two cleanup sites. It also details the ways we plan to spread information and involvement opportunities. This plan is considered a working document that can be updated as needed to better serve you.

The community involvement plan is available online (PDF) (8 pp. 725K, About PDF) and at the EPA Records Center:
1200 Sixth Avenue, 7th Floor, Seattle, WA Please call 206-553-4494 for an appointment.
