How to Participate:
- You must register for each webinar separately.
- You will need to be able to view presentations via your computer and listen to the audio portion by telephone or through your PC speakers.
- Registered participants will be able to connect to the web link provided in the reminder e-mail that will be sent out 2 days in advance of the call date.
- Set your screen resolution to 1024 X 768.
For PC-based Users
- Required: Windows® 2000, XP, 2003 Server or Vista
- Required: Internet Explorer® 6.0 or newer, or Mozilla® Firefox® 2.0 or newer (JavaScript™ and Java™ enabled)
- Internet Connection Required: Cable modem, DSL or better recommended
- Recommended: Minimum of Pentium® class 1GHz CPU with 512 MB of RAM (2 GB of RAM for Windows Vista)
For Mac®-based Users
- Required: Mac OS® X 10.4 (Tiger®) or later
- Required: Safari™ 3.0 or newer, Firefox® 2.0 or newer; (JavaScript™ and Java™ enabled)
- Internet Connection Required: Cable modem, DSL or better recommended
- Required: PowerPC G4/G5 or Intel processor, 512 MB of RAM or better
To Use VoIP Streaming Audio
- Required: Fast Internet connection (384 kbps or more recommended)
- Required: Microphone (for VoIP) and speakers (for streaming audio only) - USB headset recommended for VoIP users.
If you are unable to connect via the web, full-length, closed-captioned versions, plus transcripts of the presentations, will be available on this website approximately two weeks following the scheduled webinar presentation.
About the Webinar Format:
- Audio presentations by guest speakers, in conjunction with PowerPoint presentations.
- Question and answer session to follow presentations.
- In person meeting locations may be available in some areas, with discussion of local issues to follow webinar session. Information will be provided after you register.
- Webinar materials will be posted to this website for additional viewing access after the webinar.
- Using electronic conferencing technology will allow a larger audience to participate, while at the same time reducing our environmental, climate, and budget impacts relative to a face-to-face conference.

How to Run a Hub Site:
If you are interested in hosting an in person meeting location for people to watch and discuss the webinars together, here is what you will need:
- A phone connection with a speaker phone loud enough for everyone in the room to hear.
- A computer, projector and screen set up so people in the room can see the webinar slides.
- A method to access the power point slides from the computer with the projector and screen set up in your meeting room
- Option a) download the slides from the Federal Green Challenge Web site and transfer them (example: using a USB drive) to the computer
- Option b) if you have an Internet connection for the computer with the projector and screen set up, simply log into the webinar interface using the information you will receive by e-mail when you register for the webinar series. Participants will also be able to submit questions via the webinar interface.
- A room with space for those attending.
- A designated facilitator to help direct the discussion (Optional: someone to record key conclusions and comments an e-mail them to R10FederalGreenChallenge@epa.gov)
- Please e-mail the following information at least a week in advance of the webinar to R10FederalGreenChallenge@epa.gov: Date (s), start and end time; location (city, state, street address, room information); site contact (name, e-mail, phone number).
- Ask people to sign in at your meeting.
