EPA Region1 - New England
Video Lending Library

Overview

The Video Lending Library database is a Lotus Notes-based system designed to allow the public, educational institutions and professional organizations to view a listing of the Environmental video tapes available for temporary use from EPA Region 1. The database allows for a Video Lending Request to be submitted online which will be processed by the Region.

Navigating Video Lending Library

The main navigator provides three options. These options may be executed by clicking on the buttons on the left.

1. By Audience

Audience Category: This option lists the videos categorized by the audience for which the video is best suited. A video
may be suited for multiple audiences and hence will be listed under more than one audience, but is still the same video.

Moving around: The buttons located at the top of the listing can be used to navigate through the listing:
• The
"Next" and "Previous" buttons are used to move through the pages of the listing.
• The
"Collapse" button will change the listing so only the "Audience" category terms are displayed.
When the data is in this collapsed state, you can click on the ">" located to the left of the Audience category to
expand that single Audience listing.
• The
"Expand" button will change the listing so that all the titles are listed under all the "Audience" categories.
Searching: See item #3 below for the searching option available on this view.
Video details: Click on any video title to see more information about it.
How to request: Click on the "Request this video" icon at the top of the full screen (detailed) view to generate a request to borrow
