The redevelopment plan includes the construction of the Meeting Street National Center of Excellence. The state-of-the-art campus will provide children with and without disabilities or development delays, those who are at risk, and their families an environment where they can receive education, clinical expertise, special equipment access, and community based inclusive academic resources. Plans include the establishment of a fully-inclusive elementary and middle school, as well as a high school, with a planned gymnasium, a Family Resource Center, library, outdoor play area, therapeutic pool, community meeting space, and outdoor athletic fields which will be available for community use. This recreational space will be a valuable addition to a neighborhood that currently has little open areas or green space.

The design for the new campus calls for 30% of the 7 acre site to be covered with buildings, 30% covered with driveways and parking, and the remaining 40% to be covered with grass and landscaping with an engineering barrier, resulting in 2.8 acres of new greenspace. Meeting Street will develop the new campus as a certified green building according to the U.S. Green Building Council's LEED program standards in an effort to provide the healthiest possible environment to those served while utilizing environmentally friendly sustainable resources.
