[Print] Extremely Hazardous Substance (EHS) Chemical Profiles and Emergency First Aid Guides

In April, 2003, we converted the EHS profiles to the EPA common "look and feel." In implementing this requirement, we have also redesigned the navigation and search feature to make finding chemical profiles and first aid guides easier.

The EHS profiles present information about each of the 300+ EHS currently listed as part of Section 302 of the Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act. Each chemical profile includes physical/chemical properties, health hazards, fire and explosion hazards, reactivity data, precautions for safe handling and use, and protective equipment for emergency situations. The first aid guide provides signs and symptoms of poisoning and emergency treatment for first responders. The chemical profiles and first aid guides may be accessed from either the CAS No. or alphabetical list of EHS.
