Laboratory wastes are not uniquely associated with mining, and thus are not exempt under the Bevill exclusion for mining and mineral processing wastes (SEE ALSO: 63 FR 28556; 5/26/98). Used crucibles and cupels are spent materials, and therefore would be solid wastes when reclaimed. Reclaimed materials are not eligible for the 261.2(e) use/reuse exemption. |
