Regulatory Development and Retrospective Review Tracker

Rulemakings by Effect

EPA considers a number of effects that a rulemaking is likely to have on a variety of institutions and communities. We may also consider how rulemakings might affect specific populations, such as children, minority, low-income, tribal, and/or other vulnerable populations. Select from the list below to view related lists of rulemakings, or view a list of all of the priority rulemakings currently in Reg DaRRT. The effects shown here are not an exhaustive list. You may find that some of the issues that interest you are actually under the Sort by Topics or Phases.

This site provides summaries of priority rulemakings and priority retrospective reviews of existing regulations. We update most of the site at the beginning of each month, though some data is updated more frequently if it is time sensitive. The information on this site is not intended to and does not commit EPA to specific conclusions or actions. For example, after further analysis, EPA may decide the effects of a rule would be different or it may decide to terminate a rulemaking.
