(Dallas, Texas – October 14, 2009) The Environmental Protection Agency has fined the Sheridan Production Company, LLC, Pontotoc County, Oklahoma, $3,000 for violating the federal Clean Water Act. Today’s announcement settles a Clean Water Act violation for a 1,000-gallon oil spill into Mill Creek and adjoining shorelines.
