WASHINGTON - The National Environmental Justice Advisory Council, an EPA advisory group, will hold a public meeting in Washington, D.C., July 21-23 to discuss environmental justice. EPA Administrator Lisa P. Jackson is scheduled to speak at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21.
Topics will include air pollution impacts of freight transport, air toxics monitoring in schools, and EPA’s integration of environmental justice issues into its programs, policies and activities.
