Alaska Public Water System Supervision
This project will protect human health and ensure water is safe to drink by supporting the Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation to establish, maintain, and enforce standards for safe and reliable drinking water. Project activities include primacy program administration, training, technical assistance, outreach and education, compliance assistance and enforcement of drinking water regulations, and operation of the Principal State Laboratory for Microbiology and the laboratory certification program.
