Project Title & Description
FY09 - PESTICIDE CONSOLIDATED COOPERATIVE AGREEMENT
The Ak-Chin Indian Community will be ensuring that pesticides are sold, used and stored according to the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act (FIFRA) and laws adopted by the Tribe. This agreement aims to improve understanding of and compliance with pesticide laws and regulations, and to protect human health and the environment by implementing activities related to compliance, worker protection, and education and outreach.
This assistance agreement provides federal funding the the amount of $60,000.
