Project Title & Description
Water Pollution Control Program
These funds will provide continued support for the Tribe's water quality program. The fiscal year objective is to continue the sampling regime to assess surface water quality on Tribal lands for the purpose of compiling data which may show changes over time to determine a more thorough watershed management program to develop water quality standards. Obtained data will determine whether 1) the needs regarding the quality of the water occurring on the nation's reservation are being met, 2) note any changes in the quality and/or condition of the nation's water, and 3) understand and define the function and health of the stream ecosystem.
