This project supports the Great Lakes Restoration Initiative and the Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement, pursuant to Public Law 112-10. The Delta Institute will use this grant to support the Lake Michigan Forum and Watershed Academy. For the Lake Michigan Forum, Delta will facilitate meetings, provide technical assistance for the Sustainable Harbors Initiative, and conduct a public outreach campaign to increase the number of stakeholders involved in Lakewide Management Plan implementation. For the Watershed Academy, Delta will coordinate a peer to peer network, manage a grants program, assist in the establishment of metrics to track benefits of on the ground projects, and expand the Transportation and Environmental Collaboration Initiative.
