The objective of the In-Home Asthma Environmental Management Education and Training program is to help educate parents of children with asthma about the importance of reducing environmental asthma triggers in the home. Mariposa Community Health Center will visit homes to reduce asthma triggers through at least one mitigation measure. This project will improve the indoor air quality in homes through education and removal of asthma triggers. Removing asthma triggers helps reduce the number of asthma episodes. EPA funding is in the amount of $27,000. Preaward costs have been approved back to 12/1/08.
