Project Title & Description
Environmental Justice Program - Emissions Reduction and Environmental Health Project
This assistance agreement provides full federal funding in the amount of $25,000 to Greenaction for Health and Environmental Justice to reduce diesel emissions impacting the air quality of Kettleman City and Avenal where residents live, shop and go to school. The recipient will use their community-based diesel education and reduction project model that they developed, and implemented in San Francisco�s Bayview Hunters Point to heavily impacted Kings County communities, and create a replicable diesel education and emissions program model that can be spread to other San Joaquin Valley communities impacted by diesel pollution.
Preaward costs are approved back to 11/1/2011.
