Project Title & Description
Office of Applied Innovation Job Training Cooperative Agreement
The United States Environmental Protection Agency is initiating this cooperative agreement to the Office of Applied Innovations (OAI) to focus on recruiting students from underserved, low-income communities near and around the City of Chicago. The work will be focused on brownfield site assessments, remediation, and ecological restoration. Job opportunities will also be created through public-private partnerships engaged in commercial and residential Brownfileds redevelopment and restoration of previously contaminated sites into recreational parkland.
