Project Title & Description
Environmental Justice Small Grants Program for Community Research
This action approves an award in the amount $20,000 for A Place for Hope, Inc. A Place for Hope, Inc. will use the funds to create an active, functioning resident Healthy Community Action Plan Committee and Action Plan through a series of 12 committee meetings and two environmental training sessions. Through their efforts they intend to empower, educate, and train community residents and to take a more active role in addressing clean water and sanitary sewage disposal issues.
