Project Title & Description
CAA SPECIAL PURPOSE ACTIVITIES - Indoor Air Tools For Schools
Western Riverside Council of Govts (WRCOG) will implement the EPA Indoor Air Quality Tools for Schools program in four school districts through an innovative approach in which the local council of governments assists these districts. By training health and school professionals and potentially including students in the recognition of indoor environmental asthma triggers, and how to use no-cost/low-cost methods to remedy them, they will achieve their goal of reducing the incidence and severity of asthma episodes and death by improving the indoor environment for teaching and learning. Total federal funding is in the amount of $49,420. Pre-award costs have been approved back to 03/01/2010.
