6th Street Green Corridor
A grant agreement is provided to assist the Gowanus Canal Conservancy (Brooklyn, NY) in the construction of 5,000 square feet of landscaped stormwater runoff treatment systems (bioswales) alongside sidewalks. They will be connected to the storm sewer system along 6th Street, adjacent to the canal. This stormwater management project will improve water quality and provide a new green space for the community.
