Regionally Based Clean Water Activities
This research will use Geographis Information System (GIS) data sets and field data to create a model of stream temperature for selected reaches of the Carson River, Nevada. Elevated stream temperatures in this river jeopardize its classification as a coldwater fishery. The model will provide information useful for determining how to restore the river in order to reduce stream temperatures.
