Project Title & Description
Environmental Education - Training at EcoCenter
Literacy for Environmental Justice will provide comprehensive training to 30-40 San Francisco Unified School District school teachers in culturally relevant environmental education for urban environmental justice communities, at the Heron's Head EcoCenter. Nine teacher training sessions will be offered, and 30-40 classroom/fieldtrip co-teaching sessions. Teachers will also bring their classes to the Heron's Head park teaching facility for additional environmental education.
This assistance agreement provides federal funding in the amont of $29,525. Preaward costs are approved back to 07/01/2010.
