Project Title & Description
ELKTON-PIGEON-BAY PORT LAKER SCHOOL DISTRICT CLEAN SCHOOL BUS PROJECT
The United States Environmental Protection Agency (USEPA) will provide assistance to school bus districts for the purpose of modernizing their school bus fleets. This funding will allow school districts to retrofit buses fleets with USEPA verified technologies and/or California Air Resources Board, including switching cleaner fuels, and/or replacing older school buses with new, cleaner models. The purpose is to reduce harmful diesel exhaust pollution from school buses, thus protecting children and their communities.
