Project Title & Description
AAAS-EPA Envir. Science & Eng. Fellows Program
Highly skilled professionals with backgrounds in science and technology relating to the environment compete in a national merit-reviewed program for placement as Fellows in EPA headquarters to work on projects of their own design at the interface of science and policy. In this way, Fellows learn how technical information is used to make decisions and how to make research results more accessible to policy makers. Fellowships are for up to two years. Host offices pay allowances for stipends, travel, insurance and seminars.
