Project Title & Description
Alaska Village Indoor Air Project
The RurAL CAP Alaska Village Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Project will provide training to thirty-five Americorp and VISTA members on indoor air quality issues, irritant/allergic asthma triggers as part of its community-wide IAQ education programs. In addition, RurAL CAP will provide outreach and education as part of their house visits in rural Alaska communities on hazards of indoor air pollution and will improve the indoor air quality so it is healthier to breath by providing Carbon Monoxide (CO) monitors, hygrometers, green cleaning kits, moisture testing tools, and information brochures for tribal communities in Alaska.
