Project Title & Description
Empowering communities in North and Northeast Portland, Multnomah County, and Portland, OR
Josiah Hill III Clinic (JHC) in its partnership with the Ecumenical Ministries of Oregon (EMO) Interfaith Network for Earth Concerns (INEC) will collaborate with local congregations to develop and implement the Green Steward Project; aimed at improving the health outcomes of residents and children who face environmental justice challenges. They will engage, train, mentor and empower residents to reduce their exposure to indoor environmental air pollutants such as toxic chemicals found in scented, cleaning, and pesticide products; mold and mildew, and lead-contaminated dust.
