Investigating and Evaluating New Strategies to Implement Nutrient TMDLs
The overall goal of this project is to restore water quality by identifying and adoption new strategies for overcoming barriers to effective implementation of nutrient Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL). Anticipated outcomes of the project include improved inter-governmental coordination of TMDL implementation and improved capacity to implement nutrient TMDL from nonpoint sources. Strategies will be evaluated and compared to determine which are most effective at removing barriers and facilitation TMDL implementation.
