Project Title & Description
The Indian Township Water Quality Monitoring Program was initially started to compile baseline data for Reservation water bodies. They are now seeking funding to continue the baseline monitoring of the reservation waters. During the 2007 season, the following lakes and streams will be monitored: Big Lake, Long Lake, Lewy Lake, and Grand Falls Flowage, and Tomah Stream. Parameters monitored include: dissolved oxygen, transparency, temperature, total phosphorus, chlorophylla, specific conductance, and acidity.
