This Brownfields funding is for the continued development and enhancement of the State's response program. This grant supports the Ohio Environmental Protection Agency's (Ohio EPA) voluntary brownfields program. Ohio’s response program is the comprehensive cleanup program in the Division of Environmental Response and Revitalization at Ohio EPA. The response program also includes the Voluntary Action program that allows volunteers to remediate sites contaminated with hazardous substances and petroleum to health-based standards.
