Project Title & Description
Indian General Assistance Program
This proposal contains 5 Workplan Components which will protect the health and safety of the members of the Umkumiut Tribe. The five components are: Trash bin maintenance/ trash haul/ add one more trash bin to the Community of Umkumiut, setup and host a Water Monitoring QAPP Training for the Nelson Island Consortia to attend, test selected water sites using YSI Meter, Hach Turbidity Meter and collect samples for Lab analysis of Heavy Metals, DRO, and BTEX, make pallets for shipping e-waste and ship e waste and marine batteries through barge, purchase sled to help with transporting E-waste and recyclables during the winter months and continued human and environmental health research.
