2 Million Mile Haul B20 Biodiesel Test
The project goal is to help measure the performance differences and cost-effectiveness when using a fuel blend containing 20% soy biodiesel and 80% petroleum diesel (B20) compared with using petroleum diesel alone. Iowa Central Community College is evaluating the use of B20 in an over-the-road fuel comparison trial. The use of biodiesel will ultimately reduce the net amount of carbon released into the environment and reduce our reliance on foreign based oil reserves.
