Project Title & Description
Hamilton County PM2.5 Monitoring Network
The purpose of this award is to continue assistance to Hamilton County for planning, developing, establishing, improving and maintaining an adequate program for operating two PM 2.5 continuous monitors at designated schools and libraries. Hamilton County will provide PM 2.5 data to the state within 90 days for uploading into AQS, and will provide a PM 2.5 network review each year as part of Ohio's Criteria Pollutant Network report. The data will be used to develop strategies for the prevention and control of PM 2.5 pollution. Hamilton County will continue to weigh all filters generated in the state of Ohio for the PM2.5 network with the exception of the Central District Office.
This amendment supplements the award by increasing the award of FY05 funds by $283,570 in cash for a grant total of $849,603 in cash. The is amendment also approves budget and project periods extensions to 3/14/2006.
